Ingredients

Scale

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2024 slices pepperoni

1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Cheese Base:

In a bowl, mix shredded cheddar and mozzarella with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Form Crisps:

Place small mounds (about 1 tbsp each) of the cheese mixture onto the baking sheet, spacing them at least 1 inch apart to allow for spreading.

Gently flatten each mound into a circular shape.

Add Pepperoni:

Place a slice of pepperoni on top of each cheese mound, pressing slightly so it adheres.

Bake:

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is golden and crispy.

Cool and Serve:

Let the crisps cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while warm for extra flavor.

Notes

Try using Parmesan, Gouda, or Pepper Jack for a different flavor profile.

Store leftover crisps in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

For an extra-crispy texture, bake on a wire rack placed over the baking sheet.
