For the Creamy Sauce

12 oz (340g) fettuccine or linguine
1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, mince
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Shrimp & Pasta

1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
2 tbsp butter
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
⅓ cup sun-dried tomatoes (oil-packed, chopped)
1 tbsp flour (for thickening)
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

1.Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
2.Drain and set aside.In a large pan over medium heat, heat olive oil.
3.Add shrimp, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
4.Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turns pink.
5.Remove and set aside.In the same pan, melt butter and stir in flour.
6.Cook for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in the broth and heavy cream.
7.Add Parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.
8.Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
9.Return the cooked shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
10.Add the drained pasta and toss everything together until well combined.
11.Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy!
