Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Butter Mixture:

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for some heat)

For the Ritz Crackers:

1 sleeve (about 30 crackers) Ritz crackers

Instructions

Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture:

In a medium bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the garlic powder, dried parsley, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until well combined.

Coat the Ritz Crackers:

Place the Ritz crackers in a large mixing bowl or on a large baking sheet. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the crackers, making sure to evenly coat each cracker. Toss the crackers gently to ensure the garlic butter mixture is spread across all of them.

Bake the Ritz Snacks:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Spread the coated Ritz crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure they are not overlapping.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crackers are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning, as the butter can cause them to brown quickly.

Cool and Serve:

Once done baking, remove the tray from the oven and let the crackers cool for a few minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Customization: Feel free to experiment by adding grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, or even a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for extra flavor.

Storage: These garlic Ritz snacks are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Variation: If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, you can substitute fresh minced garlic for the garlic powder. Just sauté the minced garlic in butter until fragrant before mixing it with the other ingredients.

Serve with Dips: These are perfect with creamy dips like ranch, sour cream, or even a cheesy dip for added indulgence.
